'Jessica Jones': IGH & Dr. Koslov - Season 1 Refresher & Recap

Anytime she's on screen, even when she's dealing with subpar writing or silly ninja plots, I'm engaged. Faced with that perception, Jessica is first enraged, then shaken.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Krysten Ritter spoke about the second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones and confirmed that David Tennant is back as Kilgrave. It took Jessica Jones three years just to have a sophomore run which leaves plenty of time for The Defenders.

Every good TV shows leaves us with a few burning questions (why else would we want another season?), and although the second season of Netflix Original Jessica Jones is pretty well tied-up by the end, there are still a few things I want to know. Not wanting to miss out on another moment of her daughter's life, Alisa does whatever it takes to escape, killing the nurse Luann and severely injuring Ines in order to make it out.

This review contains spoilers for Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 2, episode 3, titled "Sole Survivor". Plus, while she does have these fantastic abilities, Jessica's best strength is her sleuth skills, which appear to get her further than being able to punch a hole in someone's chest.

Alisa went on another rampage, murdering a nurse and severely injuring another in her escape.

After snapping her tormenter Kilgrave's neck in the first season, Jessica is now having an identity crisis after being labelled a "killer". But fans must be wondering about the exact time the second season will arrive on Netflix.

After tragedy puts an end to her crime-fighting days, Jessica settles and opens her own detective agency, Alias Investigations. Meanwhile, Trish was traumatized by season one's events as well, and her dedication to investigative journalism is partly a response to feeling as if her life is out of control. "It is what it is", she said. She also evolves this season. The doctor in charge of the whole thing, Dr. Karl Malus, stopped Alisa and dropped a truth bomb: that teen was her daughter, Jessica! Jessica's journey of self-reflection is dramatic enough without excess turmoil, after all. She's got issues and a lot of anger, making her more human and relatable.

As episode 7, "AKA I Want Your Cray Cray" reveals, Alisa Jones survived the tragic auto crash that killed Jessica's father and brother, only she was injured much, much, worse than Jessica, requiring five whole years of IGH treatments to fix the significant burns to her body.

The Defenders has served as Netflix's compendium showcase for all those Marvel good guys who already had day jobs rockin' their own dedicated series fighting crime on the New York Streets.

Trish (Rachael Taylor) is still yearning to be both the hero and the protagonist that Jessica refuses to be. She tracked Jessica down and spent a day spying on her, watching her super-powered college-aged daughter from afar. Terrified and enraged, Alisa went on a rampage, tearing through the facility until she attacked a teenage patient. To a certain extent, this makes her choice to get involved in The Defenders despite the escalating weirdness - and the fact The Hand never really threatened her corner of the city - the most heroic of the four.
