Kuwait calls for maintaining stability after United States strike on Syria

Trump Declares 'Mission Accomplished' In Syria Strike

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that further Western attacks on Syria would bring chaos to world affairs, as Washington prepared to increase pressure on Russia with new economic sanctions.

The US-led missile strike against Syria, allegedly aimed at suspected chemical weapon sites, has reportedly resulted in the destruction of a pharmaceutical facility used to produce cancer drugs.

Putin called the military action a violation of the UN Charter and warned that if it continues, "it will inevitably entail chaos in global relations", according to the statement.

But US officials have blamed Russian Federation for failing to rein in its Syrian ally, as the guarantor of a 2013 agreement to dismantle Syria's chemical weapons.

Russian lawmaker Dmitry Sablin said Assad spoke highly of Russia's missile defense weapons during the meeting in Damascus, describing them as superior to those used by the United States and its allies, according to Russia's TASS news agency.

Following recent Airstrikes in Syria, local representatives in Congress are responding to the United State's action to punish President Bashar Assad for a suspected chemical attack against civilians. "We ask you to stop this ongoing civil war in Syria and to provide stability and peace for its people and a future for this generation and generations to come... we pray for you to convict the hearts of the Syrian government to care for its people, more than power".

Russian Federation called an emergency meeting of the United Nation's Security Council to introduce a resolution condemning the "aggression" of the joint strike from U.S., British and French forces.

Russia, which has emerged as Syrian President Bashar Assad's strongest supporter, previously suggested Israel and Britain were behind the Douma attack and expressed outrage Saturday over the airstrikes.

"We would never want to have direct talks with Syria at this point".

"All (the U.S.) has achieved by arming the mainly jihadist opposition is the increase of Assad's dependence on Iran and Russia", Glass said. We are going to watch out for the best interests of the American people.

Outside of the United Nations, protests against the strikes were held around the world Saturday, including in major cities in the US, Mexico, Greece and the UK. "Use often!" he tweeted.

The air and sea strikes were a response to an alleged chemical attack in Douma a week before, which killed at least 42 people and injured hundreds. "That is exactly why allies condemn any use of chemical weapons and that is why all North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies support the actions taken by key allies".

USA ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Sunday that the United States would not pull its troops out of Syria until its goals were accomplished.

Responding to criticism that Trump last month somehow encouraged Assad to use chlorine bombs against his how people by indicating that he wanted 2,000 US troops in Syria to withdraw, Haley said the president has made it clear soldiers will remain until the job is finished.

"You will see that Russian sanctions will be coming down".

U.S. President Donald Trump hailed the attacks on Twitter as "perfectly executed", adding: "Mission Accomplished!".

"I think it's very hard to say "mission accomplished" if the mission is to deter the use of chemical weapons", he said.

A statement released by the Egyptian Foreign ministry condemned the use of chemical weapons.
